Drawn from diverse backgrounds, the team has a holistic mix of corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate banking, audit and corporate finance experience. This team is backed by a group of associates / analysts who provide research and execution support.

Abhishek is based in Hyderabad and is involved in business development and end-to-end transaction execution. He brings to the table over 13 years experience in business development and marketing across the banking, consultancy and investment banking domains. In his earlier roles he has worked with leading names like L&T, ICICI Bank and Ernst & Young.

Abhishek has a management degree from IIT Kharagpur and an engineering degree from IIT Roorkee.

Sukesh has been with Veda since inception and brings with him over 12 years of experience in various facets of finance. At Veda, Sukesh has worked on a wide spectrum of clients both in private equity and in M&A. His core strengths are strategic analysis, project management and transaction structuring, having worked on many complex and one-of-a-kind transactions.

Prior to joining Veda, Sukesh served as the CFO of a couple of technology start-ups where he has successfully negotiated multiple rounds of venture funding.

Sukesh is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Shajith handles end-to-end transaction execution and brings over 10 years of experience in corporate finance. He has played a key role in the closure of over twenty PE/M&A transactions. While he has worked across different sectors, his areas of interest and focus include retail, infrastructure and services, having worked with names such as Landmark, GKC Projects, UDS and DM Healthcare.

Prior to Veda, Shajith was with the due diligence and regulatory practice of Ernst & Young, where he has assisted investors and companies at various stages of transaction execution. Earlier, he was with Mantra Consultants, where he has handheld clients through the transaction process.

Shajith is a graduate in mathematics from the University of Madras and has completed a post-graduate programme in applied finance from IIM Calcutta.

Sivaraj brings over 8 years of experience in the areas of due diligence, transaction support, documentation & audit. At Veda, he has been responsible for the execution and closure of over 10 PE/M&A transactions. He has worked on a variety of transactions across industries and specifically in the ITeS domain including clients such as Pharmarc, Integra and Textech. He has also worked on niche areas such as agri inputs and medical technology.

Sivaraj has prior work experience with Ernst & Young and Deloitte in the Assurance and Advisory practice, which helped him gain a deep understanding of business processes and systems of companies in the manufacturing, IT and services domains.

Sivaraj is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Vijay's focus areas of interest at Veda are Banking & Financial Services, IT/ ITES and Healthcare. Having concluded marquee transactions for industry leaders like Financial Software & Systems and BharatMatrimony Group, Vijay brings robust execution skills and experience in handling structurally complex transactions.

Prior to joining Veda, he worked with ICICI Prudential in the Corporate Planning function. He was involved in pricing of products and business planning for new ventures in the insurance space.

Vijay has an MBA from IIM Lucknow and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Priya has been with Veda for over 2 years and has worked on both Private Equity and M&A deals. She largely focuses on healthcare and financial services sector and has seen the closure of some marquee transactions in those areas. She brings to the table more than 6 years experience in buy-side & sell-side advisory.

Prior to joining Veda, she was an AVP with Brics Securities, where she focussed on providing advisory to mid-market companies. Earlier she was with Irevna tracking a portfolio of European large-cap Pharma stocks. She also had a stint with Ernst & Young in transaction advisory.

Priya has an MBA from ISB Hyderabad and is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Ganapathiraman is focused on transaction execution in real estate & infrastructure. He brings over 7 years of experience in corporate finance having worked on mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and syndication of private equity & debt in the real estate and infrastructure sectors.

Prior to joining Veda, Ganapathi was an AVP at Ernst & Young, where he has worked on a range of funding and joint venture transactions for major players across South India in the real estate and infrastructure space. Earlier, he was with Aircel (Sivasankaran's Sterling Infotech Group), where he was part of the corporate finance team involved in M&A and fund raising initiatives for the group in the telecom segment.

Ganapathiraman is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Priyamvada has worked on deals across a diverse range of industries including publishing services, food services and construction. She has also worked with companies in niche areas and nascent markets such as brand merchandising & green power generation. She has over 5 years of experience in closing private equity, M&A as well as structured debt transactions.

Prior to joining Veda, she worked with ABN AMRO Bank's Corporate Banking division, where she was responsible for building the SME asset portfolio in Bangalore.

Priyamvada has an MBA from XLRI, Jamshedpur.

Aishwarya has over 4 years of experience in investment banking. At Veda, she has worked on both private equity transactions and structured finance deals, with specific focus on infrastructure and infra related ancillary services. Prior to joining Veda, she worked with the investment banking team of ICICI Bank where she focused on providing advisory to mid-market companies and was instrumental in closing large transactions in the financial services industry.

Aishwarya has an MBA from FMS Delhi and has completed the CFA program from CFA Institute, USA.
